Legion Uniform Information |
| | The summer uniform consists of the following:
* An American Legion white short sleeve shirt
* Blue pants
* Legion Cap
* Black shoes
* Royal Blue Ascot
* White gloves
In the winter a royal blue with gold trim jacket is worn over the uniform.
The accessories on the shirt are shown below.
All uniforms and accessories (except gloves and ascots) are ordered from American Legion Emblem.

When ordering a jacket be sure and ask for the free embroidering over and under the American Legion logo. Post 216 in a curve over the logo, and Milford, MI in a straight line under the logo.
Water-resistant 100% nylon shell. 100% poly heavyweight quilt lining. Full snap front. Fully embroidered Legion emblem on left chest. (1st color listed is jacket color...2nd color listed is stripe color.)

| 1. You need to order a Post Style 2 Cap for the State of Michigan
That is a solid blue cap with the City name (Milford) in full, and your state name (MI) abbreviated.
2. You need to order a lined cap
3. You need to select either a Regular Crown, a Ft. Knox Crown, or a Women's Crown. Former Army Veterans choose the Fort Knox Style while all other service branches choose the Regular Crown. However, some former Marines prefer the Ft. Knox style. On the picture shown above,the Regular Crown cap is on the left and the Ft. Knox style is on the right.
4. The right side lettering is your Post Number (216) and is included in the price. There is no other right side lettering.
5. Choose your correct cap size.
