| | | Chrysler Makes Calls to Iraq Possible | | |
* THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN EXTENDED INDEFINITELY BY CHRYSLER *
Chrysler, LLC is offering, free to the public, a way to video-conference with a loved one in Iraq.
Working with the organization “Freedom Calls” http://www.freedomcalls.org Chrysler is making its several video conferencing rooms at its Auburn Hills headquarters available.
Beginning on Friday, December 7 and continuing every day through 2008, this special communication link allows friends and family to spend 30 minutes in contact with their special warrior in Iraq. To reserve a time just call (248) 512-HERO or email Hero@Chrysler.com.
The videoconference equipment is available Monday – Friday from 6 pm to 6 am, and on Saturday and Sunday 24 hours.
Family who want to make a call to a soldier will need to contact their loved one in Iraq to coordinate a time when he or she will be on a base that has a Freedom Calls center. There are five Freedom Calls centers in Iraq:
Camp Taji
Camp Fallujah
Camp Taqaddum
Al Asad Airbase
Camp Victory Click here for the Freedom Calls website

| | | A Thank You Gift for Post 216 | | | |
| The above banner was presented to the Post at our last membership meeting. The Post assisted the family of a deployed Naval Ensign with help in snow removal last winter. Previous commitments for help to the family fell through last fall. A web mail to our Post contact page resulted in solving the problem in a timely manner, much to the relief of the deployed serviceman and his wife.
